I am Mrs. Shirey. I was born and raised in Corry Pennsylvania. I obtained my teacher's certificate from Slippery Rock University. After graduation, I moved to South Carolina to teach at Denmark-Olar High School. I also taught at Livingston Christian Academy as well as Orangeburg Christian Academy. Recently I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. I love teaching and I try to make Spanish fun to learn. In July 2015 and June 2018, I was very blessed to be able to take students to Spain to use the language and learn about the culture. I look forward to this year with each student.
